Orlando Olmberg is the president and founder of the Suriname Energy Chamber (SEC). He was born in Suriname on the first of May 1970 and is the proud father of 3 daughters and a son.

Orlando is the co-founder of a solar engineering company named Guguplex Technologies SAC.  In 2012 the company won a project from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to accelerate the use of Solar Energy in Suriname.  As President of the SEC , he is focused on promoting collaboration and cooperation between different stakeholders in the energy industry both from the public and private side to enhance the energy sector as a whole and create new innovative business models and green financial schemes.
