The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation (EZ) has a visionary and leading role in sustainable and innovative economic development, aimed at increasing Suriname's national and international competitiveness for the prosperity and well-being of the entire population. The Ministry focuses, among other things, on its policies such as: stimulating economic growth by increasing productivity, promoting diversification, stimulating entrepreneurship especially SMEs, the more sustainable use of the potential of natural resources and attracting of investments, which will increase economic growth and employment.
